About
Formed in 1955 Warwick Dryers was originally a subsidiary of the well-known Midlands Company Edward Williams Holdings.
In 1998 Warwick Dryers was subject to a management buy-out and traded under the name of Heartland Industries. The buyout failed and in 2001 the company was taken over by The Stanland Group, a commercial laundry company based in the North of England with a number of laundry related interests.
Since 2001 Warwick Dryers has moved its factory from the Smethwick area of the West Midlands to West Bromwich, carried out design improvements to the dryers and extractors, created a distribution centre in the North of England from which it dispatches machines all over the world, and has restructured the management team.
In 2007 Warwick dryers began manufacturing in Italy launching the new range of WD dryers with all the enhancements of the original WTD model and a number of improved design features.
Warwick decided in 2008 to launch a new exciting range of specially engineered range of washer from 16lb to 50lb. The range will consist of rigid mount and high spin washer available in boiler fed, electric heat and steam heat to compliment its all ready well known Dryer and extractor range. The new range will be readily available in early 2009 to a selected few dealers.
