HistoryFormed in 1955 Warwick Dryers was originally a subsidiary of the well-known Midlands company Edward Williams Holdings. In 1998 Warwick Dryers was subject to a management buy-out and traded under the name of Heartland Industries. The buyout failed and in 2001 the company was taken over by The Stanland Group, a commercial laundry company based in the North of England with a number of laundry related interests. Since 2001 Warwick Dryers has moved its factory from the Smethwick area of the West Midlands to West Bromwich, carried out design improvements to the dryers and extractors, created a distribution centre in the North of England from which it despatches machines all over the world, and has restructured the management. |
